A Happy Story...
My name is Kyle Tulk, and I am The Salmon behind Happy Salmon Yard Service. For years, I worked as a mechanical engineer, but I realized my happiest days were the ones spent outside. This passion for the outdoors and a desire for a hands-on, fulfilling career led me to change paths.
I started small, taking on yard maintenance projects and developing my own property, eventually earning my Landscaping and Horticulture certificate from Okanagan College. This knowledge expanded my scope from simple maintenance to thoughtful, sustainably driven design and residential construction.
The name? Well, that's a bit of a happy story, too. My friends gave me the nickname “The Salmon,” and it just stuck. It reflects the friendly, easygoing, and local approach I bring to every job in the Salmon Arm community.
